Julia Wu, L.Ac., is a Board Certified, Licensed Acupuncturist in the state of California. In addition to her extensive training in Chinese Medicine, graduating with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Southern California University of Health Sciences, Julia received her undergraduate degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California Berkeley.

She chose to specialize in Traditional Chinese Medicine because of the connection to her cultural heritage, and because of her deep-seated belief in natural holistic health care. Julia was particularly drawn to the fact that Chinese Medicine is tailored to each individual, is completely natural, and always targets the root of the problem.

During her training as a practitioner of Chinese Medicine, Julia devoted much of her time to the scientific research of the efficacy of Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine, and how to successfully communicate the remarkable results that acupuncture and herbs can achieve in patients to the western scientific and healthcare communities.

As a practitioner, Julia utilizes a multidisciplinary approach to healing.  She believes that a complete approach to healing, including acupuncture, cupping, Tui-Na, herbology, nutritional counseling, and life style recommendations, is the best approach to promoting overall health and wellness.

“I believe that true healing can only begin when a condition is treated at the source.”

Paulina specializes in deep tissue, Swedish, myofascial release, sports massage, and acupressure. "With a background in sports, injury was a constant battle. Massage therapy became a weekly routine, it was the only thing that kept the pain at a minimum. I believe that getting a massage on a regular basis will not only relieve aches and pains, but it will relax the mind as well. We wear out our body everyday by doing the simple things like texting, driving, walking, and most importantly with the way we sleep. Being aware of our body's positioning and receiving maintenance will not only allow you to physically be more comfortable in your everyday life but you'll notice your mind more at ease and the stress you had will fizzle away."

Specialties: Deep tissue, Sports, Myofasical Release, Swedish, Prenatal, Lymphatic Drainage, Reflexology
